Palos Verdes Enjoys Mother’s Day Concert
Palos Verdes residents have a wonderful opportunity to hear the 60-person Palos Verdes Symphonic Band, under the direction of David Staton, perform a special Mother’s Day concert at South Coast Botanic Garden on Sunday, May 8, 2016. This special concert is a great way to treat mom to a special outing and also enjoy these beautiful grounds. (Touring the Garden is not included in the concert admission). The Garden is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Garden admission ticket prices are $9 adults/$6 seniors/$6 students/$4 children 5-12, and under 4 are free.
The concert will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Frances Young Hall and tickets are $10, and children 12 and under are free. Due to the expected high number of guests at the Garden that day, overflow parking with complimentary shuttle service will be available for the Garden and Concert Guests. There will be parking at the Promenade on the Peninsula, Parking Levels 2 and 3, with the shuttle stop on Level 1 near the Promenade Way entrance in front of Palos Verdes Dental Care. The Promenade on the Peninsula is located at 550 Deep Valley Drive, Rolling Hills Estates.
