The Palos Verdes Peninsula 4-H Club is a great opportunity for children of Palos Verdes homes owners that are interested in learning about citizenship, leadership and other life skills to join Palos Verdes all cities 4-H Club.  The first meeting for the year will take place on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., at City Hall in Rolling Hills Estates.  Youth between the ages of 7 and 19 will have hands-on learning experiences with different projects including pets and small animals, horses, dog care, beekeeping, poultry, sewing, marine biology, wildlife, surfing, photography, archery, pigeons, rocketry, computers and more.  This is a great participation program where parents can also volunteer to help our young leaders of tomorrow.

The program begins at the community level and then introduces the members to the county, state and national levels of leadership.  The program goes from September 2016 through June 2017 and the Club fees are $125 per year.  The Club will meet every third Wednesday of the month.  Online registration, waiver forms and code of conduct forms need to be completed by Monday, August 31, 2016.  For more information about the 4-H Club and registration forms visit www.pvp4hclub.org or contact Dee Keese at (310) 377,9773 or Rick Herbert at (310) 377-9773.

Rolling Hills City Hall is located at 4045 Palos Verdes Drive North, Rolling Hills Estates.
