South Coast Botanic Gardens October Family Fun
October at South Coast Botanic Gardens bring lots of fun for families to enjoy. During the month of October on Saturdays and Sundays, the Great Pumpkin Hunt takes place and is included with Garden admission. While you are walking through the Garden, you will be looking for ten wooden pumpkins with silly faces. Each one of these pumpkins will have a riddle or question about the Garden that you will need to answer. Next, you will complete an entry form with your answers and at a later date they will select a winner from the entries that have the correct answers. When you submit your entry at the Gift Shop they will give you a treat for participating.
Pokemon GO #GointheGarden Fall Series will be returning on October 14th and 21st, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. This event is included with Garden admission and is free for Garden members. The Garden’s instructions are: if catching them is your real test, and training them is your cause, then these two fall dates should bring beautiful Friday afternoon sunsets in the Garden that will help you #catchemall. There will be 4 active lures throughout the event with access to the charging station if you need a boost.
During the month of October, the free admission day falls on Tuesday, October 18, 2016.
