Join Paws Fur Pink Run/Walk At Ernie Howlett Park!
Palos Verdes residents who are looking for a morning of fun can get out in participate in the Paws FUR Pink® South Bay/Los Angeles run/walk which will be held on February 12, 2017, at Ernie Howlett Park in Rolling Hills Estates. This is a dog friendly outing which partially benefits Susan G. Komen Los Angeles County and also the National Canine Cancer Foundation. It has often been said that the unconditional love we share with our four legged family members offers us special healing powers, so why not get out and run/walk with them while raising funds for breast and canine cancers.
Paws FUR Pink Awards will be given in the following categories:
- Top Fundraising Team
- Top Individual Fundraisers
- Largest Team
- PAWSitively Pink Costume Contest
- Runner Awards – Overall First Place Male/Female in the 5K
Event Rules:
You do not have to have a dog to participate. All dogs must be leashed at all time, and only one dog per participant. Dogs must be at least 4 months old, and fully vaccinated. All dogs must have some form of identification on them, and participants must sign a waiver and submit it when registering for the event online or at registration the day of the event.

All events start/finish at Ernie Howlett Park.
7:00 am – Registration & Packet Pick Up Opens
7:00 am – FURever Yours Expo Open
8:30 am – Hearty Hound 5K Fun Run/Walk Starts
9:00 am – Dawdling Doodle 1-Mile Walk
9:50 am – PAWsitively Pink Costume Contest
10:00 am – Paws FUR Pink Awards
Event Pricing:
Hearty Hound 5K – pre-registration is $45/$48 day of race.
Dawdling Doodle 1 mile walk – pre-registration is $35/$38 day of race.
Kids Price (3-12) Years – pre-registration is $18/$20 day of race.
PAWSitively Pink Costume Contest – pre-registration is $18/$20 day of race.
