The Malaga Cove Art Shows Begins This Weekend!
Palos Verdes homes owners know that spring has arrived when the Malaga Cove Art Shows are back for their new season 2017. You can meet with local artists and art collectors one weekend a month from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in a family friendly outdoor environment. The first show will be this weekend on Saturday & Sunday, April 22 & 23, and will continue on May 20 & 21, June 17 & 18, July 15 & 16, August 19 & 20, and September 16 & 17, 2017.
The Palos Verdes Art Center invites the community to meet with over 30 talented local artists from seven different art groups affiliated with the Center. These groups are Artists Open Group, Pacific Arts Group, Paletteers, Palos Verdes Painters, Peninsula Artists, Photographic and Digital Artists and The Third Dimension. These artists will be exhibiting not only paintings, but also photographs, ceramic goods, and custom jewelry. This is all made possible by the support of the City of Palos Verdes Estates. The shows have been a tradition in the community for over 75 years.
Malaga Cove Plaza is located on Palos Verdes Drive West between Via Corta and Via Chico in Palos Verdes Estates. While there, you can take in the historical architecture and landmarks, visit the local gift shop and enjoy lunch at one of three local restaurants.
