Palos Verdes Enjoys Cowboy Days At Empty Saddle Club
Palos Verdes homes owners have an opportunity to join family and friends at the 26th annual Cowboy Days celebration at the Empty Saddle Club on Friday, September 29 through Sunday, October 1, 2017. This fun event will have something for everyone!
Friday’s activities will start at 2:00 p.m., with sign ups for Cutting and Adult All Around entries. Friday night they will be serving tacos with all the fixings which you can pre-purchase at a price of $15 per person ($18 at the door) followed by music and dancing and the popular Table Horse Race!
Saturday’s activities include Team Roping, Trail Competition and Gymkhana events, that will be presented by the Youth and Junior Riders. There will be performances by The Happy Hoofers and the local Jr. Drill Team. You will also enjoy shopping at the vendor booths and a demonstration from Dog Agility. Lunch will also be available to purchase on site. The evening will be a hit with a Western BBQ dinner and live western music by “The Electric Tumbleweeds.” You are asked to RSVP for dinner by September 19, 2017, and the cost is only $20 per person ($25 at the door). There will be a silent auction throughout the evening. Special treats and treasures will also be available for purchase.
Sunday will be Ranch Sorting which will begin at 9:00 a.m. The “All Around Cowboy” awards will be presented at 2:00 p.m. There will be both an adult winner and all-around winners of the Youth and Junior divisions.
