Join Tai Chi & Yoga 2018 Fall Classes At South Coast Botanic Gardens!

Palos Verdes homes owners can ease into Fall by joining one of South Coast Botanic Garden’s sessions of Tai Chi and/or Yoga offered on Saturday mornings.  Classes will be held at the Koi Pond Patio, giving Palos Verdes residents the opportunity to exercise in a natural setting instead of a studio environment.  You will feel the peace and energy of the Gardens around you.  The pace of these classes are appropriate for most individuals.

Tai Chi in the Garden, will begin this Saturday, September 1, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., through November 30, 2018.  Tai Chi consists of graceful Chinese meditative movements that help to maintain physical health, well being and spiritual essence.  This ancient Chinese technique emphasizes relaxation, balance coordination and agility, as well as flexibility and mental discipline.  The cost of each class is $10/members and $12/non-members and drop-ins are allowed.

Yoga in the Garden, will begin classes this Saturday, September 1, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., through November 30, 2018. This yoga series will be focusing on deepening gratitude for life, nature and self through yogic breath movement and meditation.  Each class will begin with gentle stretching and progress to deeper stretches and flow yoga. You will need to bring a mat, and dress in comfortable clothes.  In case of rain, you may be moved inside to a dryer location.  The cost is $12/members and $15/for non-members and drop-ins are allowed.  The class will benefit the body and mind, includes live music, sound healing and optional aromatherapy.  Reservations for these classes are recommended.

If you are interested in attending you can register online, of just drop in.  For more information call (310) 544-1948, or log on to southcoastbotanicgarden.org.
