Peninsula Committee LA Philharmonic Presents Music In The Garden 2019
Palos Verdes homes owners can enjoy the Peninsula Committee Los Angeles Philharmonic presentation of Music in the Garden 2019, at the South Coast Botanic Garden, on Sunday, March 3, 2019, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. This is a wonderful event which helps fund instrumental music instruction in the elementary grades which includes Music Mobile for third grade students, Norris Theater Concert Experience for fifth grade students, and provides financial support to the orchestras at the intermediate and high schools.
The event showcases young musicians of the Peninsula and South Bay, featuring Miraleste Intermediate School Concert Band, Palos Verdes High School String Quartet, Palos Verdes Peninsula High School Concert Band and Choir, Ridgecrest Intermediate School Advanced Band, South High Torrance Jazz Ensemble and Casimir Middle School Torrance Wind Symphony & Choir. This event takes places while the South Coast Botanic Garden is celebrating the blooming of the Cherry Blossoms.
This is a fun family event and festivities will also include the Philharmonic’s Music Mobile, face painting and more. There will also be food for purchase at the site. Bring your families for a fun day in the Garden!
