Palos Verdes Easter 2019 At Terranea Resort!
The beautiful Terranea Resort will be offering Palos Verdes homes owners an opportunity to experience wonderful restaurants and exquisite views when joining them for their Easter Brunch on Sunday, April 21, 2019.
Terranea Resort offers a variety of food choices at their many restaurants. The Easter Ballroom Brunch will take place in the Palos Verdes Grand Ballroom and will have nine stations serving everything from omelets and freshly made challah French toast to a build your own chilaquiles station, pasta/risotto bar and Asian kitchen. There will also be a separate kid’s buffet and desert bar and a Easter Sunday toast for those ages 21+. The seating times are 9:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The cost for brunch is: adults $95, children 5-10 are $49, and children under 5 are free.
Mar’sel the resort’s flagship restaurant will be serving an elegant, a la carte holiday menu prepared by Chef de Cuisine Andrew Vaughn. Entrees include an olive oil-poached halibut with artichoke confit, basil chicken Panzanella with wild mustard and heirloom tomatoes, and a roasted lamb porterhouse chop with fava beans, freekeh, toasted tomatoes, and olive juice. The restaurant will be serving from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Catalina Kitchen will be offering an Easter brunch buffet in their dining room with its beautiful ocean views. Guests can meet and mingle with the Easter Bunny and enjoy fresh, California inspired buffet specials like the prosciutto croque madame and herb crusted local halibut. There will also be a seafood and raw bar along with dedicated stations serving cheese and charcuterie, freshly baked pastries, made to order omelets/eggs benedicts, and a carving station with salt crusted prime rib, beef wellington, smoked brisket and a sugar glazed spiral ham. Catalina Kitchen will be serving from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The cost for brunch is: adults $99, children 5-10 are $49, and children under 5 are free.
Bashi Restaurant will be serving from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. and their menu is a la carte. Visit Bashi on Easter Sunday for a special menu including broiled ginger marinated duck leg, pan-roasted 12oz pork loin chop, grilled red miso lobster tails and a specialty strawberry basil martini cocktail. For more casual dining, Nelson’s will be offering their everyday a la carte menu as well as an Easter Blue Plate special from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. They will be serving a slow-roasted lamb French dip, dijon aioli, gruyere cheese, onion jam, and rosemary au jus. Terranea’s Easter Eggstravaganza will take place in the Palos Verdes Meadow and will include a petting zoo, egg hunt, arts and crafts, music and more! The Terranea Easter Eggstravaganza Egg Hunt is complimentary for all resort guests and included in the price of the Easter Ballroom Brunch and brunch at Catalina Kitchen, and Mar’sel.
