Palos Verdes Celebrates 2019 Kids To Parks Day Fun!
Palos Verdes homes owners can join the National Celebration of Parks on Saturday, May 18, 2019, by taking their children to the park. This special Kids To Parks Day is a reminder of the importance that nature and playing in the great outdoors are for our children. To celebrate this special day, our local Point Vicente Interpretive Center has planned great activities for families to enjoy.
The Point Vicente Interpretive Center will be celebrating their fourth Annual Kids To Parks Day from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. This event will take place at the Interpretive Center and will feature:
. Mobile Zoo of Southern California
. Sea Lab’s touch tanks with starfish and more
. Unleash your creative side at the craft booth
. Games – including corn-hole and hula-hoops
. Explore the information booths
. Tour the museum and native plant garden
. Enjoy the ocean breeze and short guided hikes
. There will be loads of prizes and more.
