Terranea Resort Is Going Pink For National Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2020
Terranea Resort will be joining National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October 2020 and showing guests how to enjoy Terranea through rose colored glass. Whether it includes pink flowers, pink lighting, pink food and beverage offerings, a portion of all the proceeds from the activities on the property will be donated to national organizations which benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and local groups like Cancer Support Community of Redondo Beach (a free program to help with the emotional support and education offered to people with cancer and their loved ones at any stage of diagnosis).
Hotel guests will notice while dining, that there will be a selection of rose hued desserts served at Sea Beans such as pink macrons, pink sugar cookies, cakes & meringue pops. The Lobby Bar and Terrace will be serving up light bites including their Roasted Beets Bruschetta Crostini, and Spicy Fig Margaritas. Nelson’s will be serving a Hibiscus Pomegranate Margarita, and the Pink Flamingo will be served at Catalina Kitchen, Bashi, the Lobby Bar and Terrace. ONE HOPE Wine Rose will also be available. All of these special drinks will be donating a portion of proceeds to the campaign.
In the spa/fitness area, Spa guests can enjoy the signature body treatment, of which some of the funds from each treatment will be donated to breast cancer research. Wear pink for outdoor yoga on Friday, October 17, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. Please bring a yoga mat and $20 for contribution to the local charity, Cancer Support Community Redondo Beach. If golf is on your list, celebrate Birdies for Breast Cancer all month in October at The Links, where proceeds from each round will be donated to breast cancer support and research. Guests may match the resort’s donation with an optional add-on when booking a tee time.
Let’s not forget retail at Marea Boutique. A percentage of purchases from My Saint My Hero bracelets & VOYAGE et CIE products will be donated to breast cancer support and research.
Additionally, any recreational activity that is booked in October will result in Terranea donating to the programs.
