Palos Verdes AYSO Region 10 Adult Soccer Coming Soon!
Palos Verdes home owners, who have been waiting for adult soccer to open up, get ready for great news. In April, the Palos Verdes AYSO’s Adult soccer league is tentatively scheduled to start. This information is subject to change, but with the favorable COVID-19 trend confirmation is expected next month.
Registration is open and you will need to pay the estimated annual AYSO National fee of $30. As the time draws closer to the start of the season, an additional email will be sent to registered players letting them of any increase in cost. However, the cost will not exceed the historical cost of $50 per season.
If you are interested in joining the league at this time, note that the program is extremely flexible, with no commitment. All skill levels are welcome to play, and it is a co-ed program open to men and women usually 30+, with the current average age in the league at 45+. These are pickup style games (5v5 through 11v11), with no set teams and teams are formed on game days. The game location, days and times are the same every week: Ladera Linda Park, on Wednesday @ 6:00 p.m. and Sunday @ 8:30 a.m. The great thing about this program is that you work with your schedule, and there is no commitment to make games every week. Past spring seasons ran for the months of March, April and May.
