Palos Verdes Joins In Olmsted Jr. Birthday Celebration!
The City of Palos Verdes Estates will be having a free community event for homeowners on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to celebrate Olmsted Jr. Birthday Celebration. It will be held at Olmsted Place, Malaga Cove Plaza.
Fredrick Law Olmsted Jr. was one of the founding fathers and urban designers of Palos Verdes Estates. He is known nationally, and Palos Verdes Estates Foundation, Palos Verdes Homes Association, and other local organizations will be sponsoring this celebration of design and the history of our community.
This will be an enjoyable day of rediscovering the local park lands and our historical heritage. There will be treasure hunts, hikes, games, cake walks, a photo booth, plein air art and much more.
