Palos Verdes Celebrates Skating in the Park 2022!

Palos Verdes residents are looking forward to enjoying “Skating in the Park” beginning December 16, 2022, through January 8, 2023. This year you can enjoy outdoor skating with an ocean view on a synthetic ice rink at the Ken Dyda Civic Center. The skating rink schedule will have hours varying by date and below you can find the themed skate days throughout the month of December and January. It is strongly recommended that you place reservations online at least 12 hours in advance. Drop-ins will be accepted if there is available space. The rink will be closed in the event of rain.

These are 30 minute skate sessions for ages 5 and above. Skates are provided, and the price is $7 for Rancho Palos Verdes residents & $10 for non-residents. The fun will begin on Friday, December 16, 2022, with a tree lighting ceremony, food, crafts and inflatables. Skating in the Park is sponsored by the City of Rancho Palos Verdes.

The  Ken Dyda Civic Center is located at 30940 Hawthorne Blvd., Rancho Palos Verdes.

Skate hours are:

Friday, December 16, 2022 – 5:45 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, December 17 & Sunday, December 18, 2022 – 12:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Monday, December 26 through Sunday, January 8, 2023 – 12:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

(Closed New Years Day)
