The Palos Verdes Art Center has a busy month planned in April with a new art show at Malaga Cove Library, South Coast Cactus & Succulent Annual Show & Sale, South Coast Rose Society Annual Show & Sale, and Spring Term starting at the Studio School.
On Friday, April 14, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Artists Studio of Palos Verdes will be having their opening reception of a new art show called “Art in the Cove” at the Malaga Cove Library. This will be a great time to enjoy light refreshments while you browse art work by the talented 2-D artists. There will also be artists on hand to discuss the art work. The show will be running from April 1 through May 13, 2023, during the library’s hours of operation.
The South Coast Cactus & Succulent Society will be having their annual show and sale on April 15 & April 16, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. South Coast Rose Society will be having their annual show & sale on Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. These wonderful shows are free to attend and while there you can pick up a few tips from the experienced growers.
Spring Term at the Studio School will be happening from April 3 through June 5, 2023. The Studio School at the art center is based on a quarterly schedule system. They offer youth, beginning, intermediate, and advanced level courses for all ages. Courses in various media such as painting, printmaking, ceramics, drawing and illustration, art theory, digital design and more can be found in the course catalog.
