Palos Verdes homes owners have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Earth Day right here on the Peninsula with activities taking place at the Promenade on the Peninsula and White Point Nature Preserve
On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Promenade on the Peninsula will be celebrating Earth Day at the shopping center where you can find fun and educational activities and giveaways for all. There will also be FREE paper shredding available limited to 3 boxes per person with the truck parked in the lot adjacent to El Pollo Inka. The FREE event will highlight great environmental opportunities including water conservation, storm water pollution prevention, and energy efficiency.
Promenade on the Peninsula is located on Silver Spur Road between Hawthorne and Crenshaw Blvd. All stores and restaurants will be open during the event.
On April 22, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon., the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be helping our incredible planet Earth. By taking action and volunteering your time on Earth Day, you are helping to beautify White Point Nature Preserve for the benefit of the community and wildlife. Activities will include a guided garden walk, seed cleaning, raffle, a nature based craft, and coffee provided by Starbucks.l The event is open to volunteers of all ages. Volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign and complete their waiver. Volunteers under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
White Point Nature Preserve is located at 1600 W. Paseo del Mar, San Pedro.
