Palos Verdes homes owners can join the National Celebration of Parks on Saturday, May 20, 2023, by taking their children to a park. This special Kids To Parks Day is a reminder of the importance that nature and playing in the great outdoors are for our children. To celebrate this special day, our local Ernie Howlett Park and Highridge Park have planned a mini expo and kids craft fair for families to enjoy. Just bring your beach chairs and a picnic lunch and enjoy the planned activities.
Ernie Howlett Park will be celebrating this fun Annual Kids To Parks Day from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Highridge Park will be holding their event from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This is a great time to learn about camps and classes taking place at our local parks and summer programs. The recreation and parks booth will be handing out DIY Pinwheel kits while supplies last. There will also be fun games, giveaways and more.
This is a free event and open for all to enjoy. Ernie Howlett Park is located at 25851 Hawthorne Blvd, Rolling Hills Estates. Highridge Park is located at 29035 Highridge Road, Rancho Palos Verdes.
