Palos Verdes residents can enjoy a complimentary pick-up of their Christmas tree after the holidays with their regular trash pickup.
Palos Verdes Estates residents are scheduled for pick up of their Christmas trees beginning January 2, 2024, and continuing through January 31, 2024. This service will be provided during your normal weekly trash pickup with the trees removed from your normal trash enclosure/area. After January 31, 2024, however, you are responsible to cut and bundle your tree securely with twine or rope and leave it in your trash area. Stands and all decorations including tinsel must be removed. Lightly flocked trees are acceptable. For more information, call Athens Services at (888) 336-6100.
The City of Rolling Hills will be recycling their trees as part of their regular trash pick-up program also.
