The 2024 season of Palos Verdes Neighborhood Church’s Summer Sunday Sounds is set to begin with an exciting lineup of musical performances. Kicking off on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 6:3 p.m. Evan Marshall & Friends will take the stage. Evan J. Marshall, renowned worldwide as a mandolin virtuoso specializing in Duo-Style solo performances, promises an unforgettable evening of music. This event marks the start of a series that continues on Sunday, August 18, 2024, featuring Bluezilla, a unique group known for their eclectic repertoire spanning from Aretha Franklin to ZZ Top.
Another highlight of the season will be on Sunday, August 11, 2024, when Timothy Yang, a 14-year-old four-time US Gold Medalist recognized by the Royal Conservancy of Music, will showcase his exceptional talent from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. These performances are a testament to the diverse musical offerings that the Neighborhood Church brings to the Palos Verdes community each summer.
For Palos Verdes homeowners and music enthusiasts alike, the church offers a picturesque setting on its seaside terrace. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic starting at 5:30 p.m. before settling in for the concerts beginning at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free, though donations are gratefully accepted.
