Palos Verdes residents have lots of fun holiday activities in the weeks ahead. There will be tree lighting ceremonies, outdoor skating and of course our own local holiday parade. For some of these upcoming events check below:
On Sunday, December 1, 2024, the Palos Verdes Estates Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at the Malaga Cove Plaza. The ceremony will go from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and there will be music, hot chocolate and food trucks.
On Friday, December 6, 2024, the City of Rancho Palos Verdes will be kicking off their holiday festivities with an Annual Tree Lighting with a 27 foot fir tree, menorah display and holiday shopping from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This great event will take place at the Ken Dyda Civic Center located at 30940 Hawthorne Blvd, RPV, and will include inflatables, crafts and food. On Saturday, December 7 & Sunday, December 8, 2024, you can skate outdoors from 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. These are 30 minute segments and the skate rental is included in the price of $7 residents/$10 non-residents. The Rolling Hills Estates Parade of Lights will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It is always fun to watch local youth groups, bands, floats and Santa visit the area.
