Palos Verdes home owners looking for events to get you into the 2024 holiday season, can check out local activities below that are great ideas for holiday fun for all ages.
Torrance Memorial Medical Center will be presenting their 41st annual “Holiday Festival” beginning Tuesday, December 3, 2024, and running through Sunday, December 8, 2024. The Festival will feature many decorated trees and a holiday celebration that includes a food court, musical entertainment, children’s activities, and a large holiday gift section. Trees are decorated with a different theme and will be sold with the proceeds going to benefit the Emergency Department Campaign. The “Holiday Festival” is located in the parking lot under the big white tent adjacent to the hospital on Skypark & Medical Center Drives. The public can view the trees and boutique on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 4th and Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Festival Gala takes place on Friday, December 6, 2024, and the exhibit will be closed that day. On Saturday, December 7, 2024, the exhibit is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 8, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The cost is $5 per person and free for children under 5 years old. In Riviera Village, the annual “Riviera Village Holiday Stroll” will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. This is a great event for all ages with a parade featuring Santa and the Grinch who will be making an appearance around 5:50 p.m. and will be available for photos. The stores will be bringing out their festive wares and treats and you will definitely feel the holiday cheer. The Stroll takes place on Catalina Avenue and Avenue I in Redondo Beach.
