April 2025 Fun Happenings At South Coast Botanic Garden!

Palos Verdes homes owners have a wonderful opportunity to join the fun at one of the many events this month at the beautiful South Coast Botanic Garden. Whether it’s just walking in the garden enjoying the spring blooms, joining the bug expedition, goat yoga and mimosas, or just dog walking, this month is full of great opportunities. Below is just a short list of some of the fun!

April 12 – Parent & Me: Bug Expedition (Check website for prices)

April 13 – G. Y.M. – Goat Yoga & Mimosas (Check website for prices)

April 19 – Floral Fragrance – DIY Candle Making (Check website for prices)

April 20 – Enjoy your own Easter Egg Hunt -While there are no formal events, guests are welcome to host their own egg hunts in the Lower Meadow. Dottie’s at the Koi Pond will be open so you can walk the Garden with a cold cocktail in hand, or purchase food and have a seamless brunch surrounded by nature’s beauty.

April 26 –  Music in the Garden – This magical afternoon is sponsored and organized by the Peninsula Committee Los Angeles Philharmonic and provides an opportunity for student orchestras and choral ensembles to showcase their talent. Bring a blanket and stop by Dottie’s at the Koi Pond for some refreshments before you settle in for a great time, because this is one of spring’s most enchanting events.

April 27 – Dog Walking hours will take place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, with selected time slots between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. All dogs must be kept on leashes while on Garden property including the parking lot. They will not be allowed in the Rose Garden or the Koi Pond areas. This is a transaction-less entry as advanced tickets are required to reserve your specific time slot.  There will be water stations for both visitors and “fur babies.” The price for admission for this dog walking event is $15/adult, $11/senior, $5/child, and all dogs $5 each. Members are free. For more information or to purchase admission tickets, click here.
