Peninsula Seniors Present Bohannon Lecture Series & Coffee and Cars May 2025

Palos Verdes homeowners have interesting presentations in the May 2025 Peninsula Seniors Bohannon Lectures Series.  These Lectures take place at Scriba Family Center located at 602 Deep Valley Drive, Rolling Hills Estates, with in-person lectures beginning at 10:30 a.m. on the following Wednesdays:

May 7 – “Art of the Middle Ages” will be presented by members Ann and Lee Strong who will discuss the Art of the Middle Ages from about 400 CE to 1350 CE following the fall of the Roman Empire.

May 14 – “Hollywood Bowl Encore” will be presented by LA Philharmonic Speakers Bureau members Mike Cox and Maria Moore who will encore the popular “110+ Years of Stars, Under the Stars” history with previews of the 2025 summer series.

May 231 – “Sacred Vibrations” will be presented by author, singer, musician and sound healing expert, Jeralyn Glass, who will share her work with sound and music for health and well-being.

May 28 – “How the Palos Verdes Peninsula Evolved” will have a representative of the Point Vicente Interpretive Center who will follow the development of the Peninsula from early habitation by the Tongva Native Americans to the arrival of wealthy investors.

On Saturday, May 3, 2025, Coffee & Cars will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on the top parking deck of the Promenade Mall. On the first Saturday of every month, a group of car enthusiasts will bring their Hot Rod, Custom, Muscle Car, Sports Car, Antique, and other special interest vehicles to this location where you can admire the cars, meet the owners and ask them questions. To reach the top parking deck, enter from Indian Peak Road at the Peninsula Shopping Center off Silver Spur Road and Hawthorne Boulevard in Rolling Hills Estates.
