Palos Verdes residents have lots of fun holiday activities in the weeks ahead. There will be tree lighting ceremonies, outdoor snow opportunities and of course our own local holiday parade. For some of these upcoming events check below:
On Sunday, December 7, 2025, the Palos Verdes Estates Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at the Malaga Cove Plaza. The ceremony will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and there will be music, hot chocolate and food trucks.
On Friday, December 12, 2025, the City of Rancho Palos Verdes will be kicking off their holiday festivities with an Annual Tree Lighting with fun snow activities, sledding, inflatables, crafts and food. This great event will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Ken Dyda Civic Center located at 30940 Hawthorne Blvd, Rancho Palos Verdes. The Rolling Hills Estates Parade of Lights will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. It is always fun to watch local youth groups, bands, floats and Santa visit the area. This years Grand Marshall will be Don Slaught.
