The annual South Coast Botanic Garden Fall Orchid Show & Sale will take place on Saturday, September 16, and Sunday, September 17, 2017.

Palos Verdes Library District presents QUEENS on September 14, 2017 and THE ZOOKEEPERS WIFE on September 28, 2017, and IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT on Monday, October 2, 2017.

Palos Verdes Estates Bulky Trash and E-Waste pick up is scheduled for a second time this year on September 23, 2017.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be hosting the White Point Home Tour and Reception on September 10, 2017, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. featuring six unique San Pedro homes with a focus on art, architecture and landscaping. Reception follows at 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brouwerij West in San Pedro.

During the month of September 2017, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering hikes on Palos Verdes trails - including nocturnal hikes, bird watching, and volunteer opportunities.

Rolling Hills Estates City Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ernie Howlett Park and will include equestrian events, hay wagon rides, petting zoo, live on stage acts, watermelon eating contest, the Annual Poker Ride and mobile food vendors.

The Palos Verdes Art Center early bird fall registration will start on August 18, 2017, for classes which will begin the week of September 11, 2017, and continue through November 18, 2017.

Enjoy a Free Garden Concert featuring "The Firebird Quintet" on Sunday, August 27, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church.

The Palos Verdes Performing Arts Series will be presenting "Seussical Jr." from August 11 to 13, 2017, at the Norris Theatre in Rolling Hills Estates.

On Saturday, August 12, 2017, the International Longshoreman and Warehouse Union will sponser "Walk the Coast" community fundraiser for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.
