Enjoy Valentine's Day Celebrations at the Banning Museum's Valentine Tea & Tunes and South Coast Botanic Garden's Valentine's Day In The Garden (both February 11, 2017).

The Palos Verdes Library District will be sponsoring its 8th annual "One Book One Peninsula" on February 4, 2017, featuring "Queen Sugar" author Natalie Baszile at the South Coast Botanic Garden.

Peninsula Seniors Lecture Series for the month of February 2017, will meet Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. at Hesse Park in the Fireside Room and includes presentations of "Love Letters" by the Reader's Theater Repertory of San Pedro, Rick Thompson's Christmas Photo Journey, "An Interview with Queen Victoria" presented by the Palos Verdes AAUW Readers Theater,and Dr. William Lama's "Thank Heaven for Global Warming". Coffee and Cars will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the Peninsula Center back parking area.

During the month of February 2017, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering hikes on Palos Verdes trails - including nocturnal hikes, bird watching, and volunteer opportunities.

Palos Verdes AYSO Region 10 is now offering sign ups for the popular Playtime Adventure Program for Children 3 to 4 years of age to be held at Highridge Park, Rolling Hills Estates, beginning April 10, 2017.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District is having their open house event for the "Parent Participation Model" school Cornerstone at Pedregal, on January 21, 2017, at 2:00 p.m.

Free assistance with income tax preparation is available on Saturdays from February 4, through April 15, 2017, at the Palos Verdes Peninsula Senior Center in Rancho Palos Verdes.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be presenting the "Wild & Scenic" film festival on January 22 & February 12, 2017.

Palos Verdes Peninsula High School and Palos Verdes High School are hosting several information sessions for students and parents in Palos Verdes to assist in their selection of a high school for the 2017-2018 school year.
