Palos Verdes Library District presents MADAME CURIE on Monday, March 16, 2020, at noon, and ON THE BASIS OF SEX on Thursday, March 19, at 3:00 & 6:00 p.m.

During the month of March 2020, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering hikes on Palos Verdes trails - including nocturnal hikes, bird watching, and volunteer opportunities.

Whale watching off the Palos Verdes coast has begun with 399 gray whales spotted since December 1, 2019. Point Vicente Interpretive Center is an excellent spot to view the whales from the land and two local companies have boat excursions that you can book.

Both Palos Verdes High Schools will be holding their 2020 annual Booster Club fundraisers in the month of March at the Palos Verdes Golf Club.

On Sunday, February 23, 2020, Los Serenos de Point Vicente will be offering a Tide Pool Hike, a moderate walk at Abalone Cove Shoreline Park at 2:00 p.m.

South Coast Botanic Garden located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula offers many activities for us to enjoy. Check out the new January through February 29, 2020, that are available for Tai Chi, Yoga in the Garden, or even Goat Yoga.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District is presenting Kindergarten Parent Information Meetings on January 14 & 16, 2020, and all parents that have kindergarten children entering in the 2020-2021 school year are encouraged to attend.
