Palos Verdes Estates is holding its Annual Hazardous & E-Waste Collection for Palos Verdes Estates residents on Saturday, February 2, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Palos Verdes High School.

Whale watching off the Palos Verdes coast has begun with 195 gray whales spotted since December 1, 2018. Point Vicente Interpretive Center is an excellent spot to view the whales from the land and two local companies have boat excursions that you can book.

South Coast Botanic Garden located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula offers many activities for us to enjoy. Check out the new January through March 2019 classes that are available for Tai Chi, Yoga in the Garden, Kids Yoga or even Goat Yoga.

Palos Verdes homes owners are able to ride the Palos Verdes transit bus free on New Year's Eve 2018. It will pick you up at your home and take you anywhere on the Peninsula.
