The Palos Verdes Library District's 2018 Annual Community Art Show application process begins on September 1, 2018.

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be celebrating National Honey Bee Day on August 25, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at White Point Preserve and Nature Center.

Terranea Resort presents "Cielo After Dark" a Saturday evening ultra lounge entertainment and dancing nightlife event.

US Navy Ships will visit the Port of Los Angeles for LA Fleet Week activities August 31 through September 3, 2018. In addition to tours of the ships, there will be musical entertainment, military demonstrations, flyovers, fireworks, STEM expo and food trucks.

Rolling Hills Estates City Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Empty Saddle Club and will include equestrian events, hay wagon rides, petting zoo, live on stage acts, watermelon eating contest, the Annual Poker Ride and mobile food vendors.

Enjoy a Free Garden Concert featuring "Encore Saxophone Quartet" on Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church.

The 61st Annual Portuguese Bend National Horse Show will be held at Ernie Howlett Park on Friday, September 7, through Sunday, September 9, 2018. In addition to horse competitions, this event features an old fashioned hometown fair with petting zoos, pony rides, moon bounces and more.

Palos Verdes Art Center will be presenting Arts On The Hill on Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is a free event open to the public.

The Palos Verdes Performing Arts Series will be presenting "Willy Wonka Jr" from August 3 through August 5, 2018, at the Norris Theatre in Rolling Hills Estates.

South Coast Botanic Garden is offering many one of a kind activities during the month of August 2018, from the Summer Yoga, Relax & Chill, and the South Coast Botanical Gardens Begonia Show.
