The Costume Closet has extended its hours in October 2016 to get ready for Halloween. They now have over 8,000 costumes to rent in addition to an accessory and shoe department to complete your look.

The Harvest Festival, sponsored by the Lunada Bay Homeowners Association, will take place on October 9, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Lunada Bay Plaza.

During the month of October 2016, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering hikes on Palos Verdes trails - including nocturnal hikes, bird watching, and volunteer opportunities.

Rolling Hills Estates City Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ernie Howlett Park and will include equestrian events, hay wagon rides, petting zoo, live on stage acts, watermelon eating contest, the Annual Poker Ride and mobile food vendors.

At Terranea Resort on Saturday, October 15, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be hosting "Autumn Impressions", an art workshop which also includes a family coastal hike.

The Palos Verdes Art Center has opened their fall registration for adult & children's classes that start the week of September 12, 2016.

The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will join Los Serenos de Point Vicente and Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy to host Coastal Cleanup Day in Palos Verdes on Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Abalone Cove Shoreline Park.

US Navy Ships will visit the Port of Los Angeles for LA Fleet Week activities September 2 - 5, 2016. In addition to tours of the ships, there will be musical entertainment, military demonstrations, flyovers, fireworks, STEM expo and food trucks.

Palos Verdes Peninsula 4-H Club will have its first All Club Community Meeting on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. in the Rolling Hills Estates City Hall.
