The Hills Are Alive - 10K and 5K race and a 5K walk will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at Ernie Howlett Park in Rolling Hills Estates and benefits the Pepper Tree Foundation.

Shakespearre by the Sea will be presenting "As You Like It" and "Tempest" during the month of July at three different locations.

Lunada Bay Homeowners Association will be hosting their summer concerts series at Lunada Bay Park on Sundays: July 12, July 26, August 9 and August 23, 2015.

Fourth of July fireworks 2015 can be seen from Palos Verdes and other South Bay locations. There will be fireworks at 9:00 p.m. off Torrance Beach, Redondo Beach's Seaside Lagoon and San Pedro's Cabrillo Beach.

2015 Palos Verdes Fourth of July celebrations will be held in Palos Verdes Estates at Malaga Cove School beginning at 9:30 a.m. and in Rancho Palos Verdes at the Point Vicente Park/Civic Center at 11:00 a.m.

Palos Verdes beaches have once again received a grade of A & A+ by Heal the Bay and are on their 2014-2015 top honors list. Heal the Bay has been working since 1990 to make sure that beach goers are aware of the possible pollution of their beaches.
