Palos Verdes Library District presents NORTH BY NORTHWEST on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at noon, DAUGHTER OF MINE on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at 3:00 & 6:00 p.m., and GREEN BOOK on Thursday, July 25, 2019, at 3:00 & 6:00 p.m.

Palos Verdes beaches have once again received a grade of A & A+ by Heal the Bay and are on their 2018 - 2019 top honors list. Heal the Bay has been working since 1990 to make sure that beach goers are aware of the possible pollution of their beaches.

Fourth of July fireworks 2019 can be seen from Palos Verdes and other South Bay locations. There will be local fireworks starting at 9:00 p.m. off the coastline of Redondo Beach to Malibu, at the Torrance Civic Center, and Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro.

Summer Concerts In The Park 2019 Malaga Cove series in Palos Verdes begins July 10, 2019, and continues every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. through August 28, 2019, and will include Bad Haggis, Eagles Tribute, Island Rthyms, Andy, Renee and Hard Rain, Jim Sitterly Quintet, The Hodads, Driftaway and Cody Bryant.

2019 Palos Verdes Fourth of July celebrations will be held in Palos Verdes Estates at Malaga Cove School beginning at 9:30 a.m., in Rancho Palos Verdes at the Point Vicente Park/Civic Center at 11:00 a.m., and at Terranea Resort beginning at 2.00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
