San Pedro is actually not a city but a neighborhood/community of Los Angeles and consolidated with Los Angeles in 1909.  San Pedro is home to over 80,000 people.  San Pedro really feels like its own distinct city with the Vincent Thomas Bridge (connecting it to Terminal Island), Korean Bell of Friendship, Cabrillo Beach, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, and many waterfront restaurants and shopping.
