Palos Verdes libraries are waiving overdue fees with the return of overdue library books for Palos Verdes homes owners on Fridays in January, 2012.

Palos Verdes homes owners can recycle e-waste this weekend, January 20 - 21, 2012 at three different locations. Donations will benefit our Palos Verdes schools.

Palos Verdes Peninsula High School and Palos Verdes High School will be holding Open Houses for Eighth Grade Students in Palos Verdes to assist in their selection of a high school for the 2012-2013 school year. Selections must be made by February 17, 2012.

Palos Verdes homes owners are invited to the Peninsula Seniors Lecture Series held on Wednesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. On January 19, 2012, Nadine Bobit, "The Healthiest Person I Know", will be speaking and on January 25, 2012, Rafael Capiro from Truth Fitness and Health will be presenting.

Palos Verdes Junior Ranger Program is being offered to children from 7 to 12 years of age beginning January 28, 2012 through June 23rd; the five sessions will culminate in a graduation ceremony.

Palos Verdes homes owners are offered a free transit service on New Year's Eve that will pick you up at your home and take you anywhere on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. You can make reservations beginning December 27, 2011.
