The Empty Saddle Club will be enjoying their 26th annual Cowboy Days from September 29 through October 1, 2017.

On Sunday, October 1, 2017, the Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance will be held at the Louis Zamperini Field located at the Torrance Airport from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Rolling Hills Estates City Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ernie Howlett Park and will include equestrian events, hay wagon rides, petting zoo, live on stage acts, watermelon eating contest, the Annual Poker Ride and mobile food vendors.

Enjoy a Free Garden Concert featuring "The Firebird Quintet" on Sunday, August 27, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church.

On Saturday, August 12, 2017, the International Longshoreman and Warehouse Union will sponser "Walk the Coast" community fundraiser for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

The 60th Annual Portuguese Bend National Horse Show will be held at Ernie Howlett Park on Friday, September 8, through Sunday, September 10, 2017. In addition to horse competitions, this event features an old fashioned hometown fair with petting zoos, pony rides, moon bounces and more.

The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will join Los Serenos de Point Vicente and Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy to host Coastal Cleanup Day in Palos Verdes on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Abalone Cove Shoreline Park.
