During the month of August 2020, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering a hike on the Palos Verdes trails, and a Zoom Docent Orientation for new interested volunteers.

Palos Verdes beaches have once again received a grade of A & A+ by Heal the Bay and are on their 2019-2020 top honors list. Heal the Bay has been working since 1990 to make sure that beach goers are aware of the possible pollution of their beaches.

Whale watching off the Palos Verdes coast has resumed with two whale watching companies, Harbor Breeze & Spirit Cruises, operating their tour boats.
