During the month of March 2020, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering hikes on Palos Verdes trails - including nocturnal hikes, bird watching, and volunteer opportunities.

Whale watching off the Palos Verdes coast has begun with 399 gray whales spotted since December 1, 2019. Point Vicente Interpretive Center is an excellent spot to view the whales from the land and two local companies have boat excursions that you can book.

On Sunday, February 23, 2020, Los Serenos de Point Vicente will be offering a Tide Pool Hike, a moderate walk at Abalone Cove Shoreline Park at 2:00 p.m.

Palos Verdes 29th Annual AYSO Spring Select Soccer League 2020 is now accepting applications for boys & girls 10U, 12U, 14U & 16U team members.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District is presenting Kindergarten Parent Information Meetings on January 14 & 16, 2020, and all parents that have kindergarten children entering in the 2020-2021 school year are encouraged to attend.

Palos Verdes Peninsula High School and Palos Verdes High School are hosting several information sessions and open houses for students and parents in Palos Verdes to assist in their selection of a high school for the 2020-2021 school year.
