During the month of September 2018, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering hikes on Palos Verdes trails - including nocturnal hikes, bird watching, and volunteer opportunities.

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy will be celebrating National Honey Bee Day on August 25, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at White Point Preserve and Nature Center.

Rolling Hills Estates City Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Empty Saddle Club and will include equestrian events, hay wagon rides, petting zoo, live on stage acts, watermelon eating contest, the Annual Poker Ride and mobile food vendors.

Enjoy a Free Garden Concert featuring "Encore Saxophone Quartet" on Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church.

The 61st Annual Portuguese Bend National Horse Show will be held at Ernie Howlett Park on Friday, September 7, through Sunday, September 9, 2018. In addition to horse competitions, this event features an old fashioned hometown fair with petting zoos, pony rides, moon bounces and more.

Palos Verdes Art Center will be presenting Arts On The Hill on Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is a free event open to the public.

The Hills Are Alive - 10K and 5K race and a 5K walk will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at Ernie Howlett Park in Rolling Hills Estates and benefits The Pepper Tree Foundation.
