The Costume Closet has extended its hours in October 2017 to get ready for Halloween. They now have over 8,000 costumes to rent in addition to an accessory and shoe department to complete your look.

During the month of October 2017, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy is offering hikes on Palos Verdes trails - including nocturnal hikes, bird watching, and volunteer opportunities.

The Empty Saddle Club will be enjoying their 26th annual Cowboy Days from September 29 through October 1, 2017.

Palos Verdes Promenade Ice Chalelet offers a great variety of fun activities including ice skating, hockey, broomball and a great party celebration plan.

Rolling Hills Estates City Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ernie Howlett Park and will include equestrian events, hay wagon rides, petting zoo, live on stage acts, watermelon eating contest, the Annual Poker Ride and mobile food vendors.

The Palos Verdes Art Center early bird fall registration will start on August 18, 2017, for classes which will begin the week of September 11, 2017, and continue through November 18, 2017.

Enjoy a Free Garden Concert featuring "The Firebird Quintet" on Sunday, August 27, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church.

The 60th Annual Portuguese Bend National Horse Show will be held at Ernie Howlett Park on Friday, September 8, through Sunday, September 10, 2017. In addition to horse competitions, this event features an old fashioned hometown fair with petting zoos, pony rides, moon bounces and more.

The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will join Los Serenos de Point Vicente and Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy to host Coastal Cleanup Day in Palos Verdes on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Abalone Cove Shoreline Park.
