Palos Verdes homes owners have the opportunity to enjoy Palos Verdes Earth Day Celebrations at the Promenade on the Peninsula on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, or at the White Point Nature Preserve on Saturday, April 19, 2014.

Peninsula Seniors lecture series for the month of April 2014 will meet Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Hesse Park in the Fireside Room and includes presentations by Dr. William Ailor, Dr. Shelly Stockwell-Nicholas, John Crayton, Jackie Bacharach & Mark A. Viera. This month Coffee & Cars will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Peninsula Center and will feature British cars.

AYSO Region 10 registration is now open for the Fall & Summer 2014 seasons. These programs are open for children 4 to 19 years of age. This year AYSO EXTRA is also offering tryouts for both boys & girls starting on April 5, 2014.

There are several opportunities for children to visit the Easter Bunny in Palos Verdes. Beginning Saturday, March 29 through April 19, 2014, they can visit the Peninsula Center to take pictures and enjoy activities with the Easter Bunny. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny takes place on Saturday, April 12, from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. at Ruby's in the Promenade. The City of Rancho Palos Verdes will hold its annual Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza from 10-11 a.m. at the Ladera Linda Community Center on April 19, 2014.

Palos Verdes Art Center is hosting "The Circle 2014 Historic Homes Tour" which features three historic Palos Verdes Estates homes on April 11 & 12, 2014. The tour includes lunch at the PV Art Center, boutique & collectibles shopping, and raffle prizes.

On March 15, 2014, What's Up For Kids will have their annual event showcasing children's summer activities available on the Palos Verdes Peninsula and other South Bay locations.

South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes Peninsula will be offering Chen Bin Taiji in the Garden (Tai Chi classes) on Saturdays beginning March 15, 2014.

Palos Verdes Junior Ranger Program is being offered to children 7 to 12 years of age. The programs orientation will be held on March 8 & 9th, 2014, from 1-3 p.m. There will be five sessions and will culminate with a graduation ceremony.

Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy offers many different opportunities during the month of March 2014 - volunteering, hiking, bird watching, nocturnal events and more.

Spring School Vacation 2014 is approaching and here are some activities children can enjoy. Palos Verdes Art Center is having creative classes for children 5+ and AYSO is offering soccer camps for children 4-16.
