Palos Verdes Art Center Offers Art-Rageous Summer 2015 Camp
Palos Verdes Art Center Offers Art-Rageous Summer Camps and a variety of classes for Palos Verdes homes owners’ children to enjoy here on the Peninsula. These classes will encourage your children to develop their creativity and skills or just find some new ways to have fun! Classes are divided into age appropriate groups.
Age Group 5 – 7 – Five Sessions to Choose From:
July 13 – July 17 – California: My Home, Sweet Home & Art Exploration
July 20 – July 25 – The Circus is in Town! & Under the Rainbow
July 27 – July 31 – Wish Upon a Star: the Night Sky & Exploring Patterns from around the World
August 3 – August 7 – Colors, Cosmos & Curiosities & Monster Mash
August 1 0 – August 14 – Working Together To Create Art & Under the Sea
Age Group 8+ – Five Sessions to Choose From:
July 13 – July 17 – Construction & Design & Beyond Color
July 20 – July 24 – Explore the Art of Mexico & A Tour of Asia
July 27 – July 31 – Off The Wall & Folk Art Sculpture
August 3 – August 7 – Ancient Greece & Let’s Visit Spain!
August 10 – August 14 – Colors, Cosmos, Curiosities & Realistic, Surreal and Folk Art Painting
Half Day Cost is $220 (Members $190), and goes from 9:00 a.m. to noon or afternoon session is from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Full Day is $300 (Members $270) and goes from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Other single classes offered during the summer months for children are: Ceramics – Creative Ways with Clay & Beginning Wheel – Drawing & Painting – Youth Drawing & Youth Painting & Pastel, Youth Drawing & Chalk & Oil Pastel.
