Palos Verdes has a new restaurant called Mama Terano that opened in early October. This trattoria was inspired by Robert Bell’s (of Chez Melange) grandmother. I have eaten at Mama Terano several times and have tried something new each visit. I am a big fan of their Flatbread, Gnocchi (be sure to ask for the Alfredo Sauce), and Roasted Fennel & Cauliflower Gratin.
Mama Terano is located at 815 Deep Valley Drive, Rolling Hills Estates 90274 (on the Brick Walk) 310-377-5757. It is open every day except Monday. Hours are Tuesday through Thursday 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 4:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. Every Sunday they present a “Family Supper” which is a 5-course meal for $25 for adults and $15 for children 12 and younger. I recommend you go for a meal; it’s delicious!
