Tired of all the hussle and bussle of the holiday, and need a quick get a way? Then take a minute to breathe and visit our own local Catalina Kitchen at Terranea Resortin Rancho Palos Verdes. When you enter the hotel, it puts things back in prospective with its open floor plan, surf pounding outside and the relaxing water view. The hotel is decorated beautifully with poinsettias and Christmas trees in all the right places, but not obstructing the gorgeous view of the property.
At Catalina Kitchen, you can sit inside or outdoors in the patio (with umbrellas and heaters). The fabulous menu offers a wide variety of choices. I like the Flatbread with Arugula and Artichokes, the Turkey Club Sandwich, the Pasta with Vegatables, and of course the delicious Chocolate Layer Cake with a rich chocolate ganache frosting. They also have a new wine list; and on specific wines will donates up to half of the cost of your glass of wine to various charities (autism, planting of new trees, women’s health and several others). Seems like a nice way to give back at this time. I recommend that you visit Catalina Kitchen for their delicous food and an opportunity to unwind in the beauty of our Palos Verdes coast.
