The Peninsula Friends of the Library’s Annual Gala is this Saturday, March 12, 2011, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. This year’s fundraiser “Around the World in an Evening“, will offer food tastings and libations from local restaurants and will be held at the Peninsula Center Library in Rolling Hills Estates. Along with the wonderful food choices will be international music and entertainment representing world cultures. There will be a silent auction and lots of other fun activities. This is a great opportunity to support our local libraries.
