The average sales price for single family Palos Verdes homes from August 1st to date is $1,330,958 which is down from last month’s average of $1,423,158.
In August 2012 to date, the highest priced Palos Verdes home sold for $3,541,000 in the Lunada Bay neighborhood of Palos Verdes Estates; this fabulous 5,063 square foot, 4 bedroom, 5 bath magnificent contemporary residence has breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island (across the street from the ocean bluffs) and features an updated kitchen, a family room, bar, light-filled office, expansive patios, greenhouse and four-car garage on a 22,617 square foot lot. The lowest priced Palos Verdes home sold to date in August for $750,000 and is located in the Silver Spur neighborhood of Rancho Palos Verdes; this home has 1,780 square feet, 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on a 7,196 square foot lot.
