Attention parents of eighth grade students! Palos Verdes High School, and Peninsula High School will be hosting their annual forums and tours at their respective schools for Palos Verdes homes owners (and tenants). Any current eight grade student will have an opportunity to enroll under “open enrollment” which means that the students who will enter 9th grade in September 2013, may choose which high school they wish to attend. Planning for the 2013-2014 school year is beginning, and enrollment numbers are critical to effectively prepare for the year. Students must make their commitment by Tuesday, February 19, 2013, or the student will be enrolled at a high school based on space.
Palos Verdes Peninsula High School will be welcoming prospective students and their parents starting this Thursday, January 24th, from 5:15-8:15 p.m., for an information night. This is a chance to learn about the different academic, extracurricular and the athletic programs of Peninsula High School. Peninsula High School is located at 27118 Silver Spur Road, Rolling Hills Estates.
Palos Verdes High School will host its Palos Verdes High School Tours on January 30th and 31st, 2013, from 1:30 – 2:50 p.m. The next set of tours called Sunset Tours will take place on February 4th and 11th, starting at 4:45 p.m.. Palos Verdes High School is located at 600 Cloyden Road, Palos Verdes Estates.
