Once again, our local Whole Foods in Torrance, is helping the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy by dedicating Wednesday, June 12, 2013, as Community Day by donating 5% of the day’s sales to the PVPLC. This is an excellent opportunity for Palos Verdes homes owners to participate in a convenient fundraiser to support the preservation of our open space here in Palos Verdes. Since its inception in 1988, the Conservancy has successfully preserved 1,600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
