On Saturday, August 17, 2013, from 10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m., Terranea Resort will be hosting the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy and Art to Grow On, Inc., for Summer Impressions, a family coastal hike and children’s art workshop. This year the theme will be Nature’s Detectives and the children will enjoy a short hike down the discovery trail with fun activities along the path which will teach them to observe patterns of color and the different textures that are seen in nature. Then the young artists will take their new skills and transfer all their new impressions into their own masterpieces. This is a great event for children over 3 to enjoy. There is limited space and reservations are required. The price is only $25 per family.
Meet at the pelican statue next to the Pelican Cove parking lot between the Pt. Vicente Lighthouse and Terranea Resort. Pelican Cove is located at 31300 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes.
