Promenade on the Peninsula will be hosting a 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, October 13, 2013, starting at 8:30 a.m., at the Peninsula Mall. Palos Verdes homes owners have a great opportunity to join this exciting and unique 5K that starts directly on the Promenade Mall. The race starts off through the beautiful canyon view streets of Rolling Hills Estates and will make a large loop around the mall via Silver Spur and Indian Peak roads. The finish will have runners sprinting past Center Court of the Promenade Mall.
This will be a first class race with computerized “wire” timing, a reusable runners backpack filled with freebies, and post race food and beverage. The race will reward the top 3 overall fastest males and females with cash prizes of $200, $150 and $100 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. The top three finishers in each of the 12 adult age divisions receive 3 month, 2 month and 1 month memberships to the exclusive Equinox Fitness Club. There will also be a $100 bonus for the first male and female that break the course record.
