Palos Verdes Library District Brings E-Book Training To Farmers Market

At the Palos Verdes/Rolling Hills Estates Farmers Market this Sunday, January 12, 2014, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the Palos Verdes Library District will be teaching Palos Verdes homes owners how to download free e-books.  Trained librarians will be there to give hands on training to anyone looking for help in loading the free e-books program.

In addition to the free e-book training, this is a great opportunity to shop where local farmers and growers sell their crops directly to the public.  You can find a wide array of fresh and locally grown seasonal fruits and vegetables.  You will also find other vendors with fresh breads, prepared food, meats, fish  and even crafts.  You can stop by the local coffee shop for a cup of coffee, or try some of the hot foods with their tantalizing aromas.  The Farmers Market is open until 1:00 p.m. and is a great time to get fresh food products and support our local farmers and vendors.

The Farmers Market is located in Peninsula Center at Hawthorne Boulevard and Silver Spur Road, in Rolling Hills Estates.
